Appointments - A new direction for DATASTORM

Marie Cavillon is a statistician-economist with a degree from ENSAE Paris (2005) and a master's degree in mathematics applied to the social sciences (Paris 5).es aux sciences sociales (Paris 5), Marie Cavillon began her career as a consultant-statistician with Lincoln.

In 2008, she joined the French Ministry of Health's Direction de la recherche, des études, de l'évaluation et des statistiques (Drees), with the ambition of playing a role in the evaluation, improvement and implementation of public policies.

On the strength of this experience, and aware of the need for statistical support and expertise in public and private companies, she decided to leave Drees in 2013 to set up a statistical and economic research and consulting company: K.Stat Consulting. She now assists a number of companies and major government agencies in the use of their data, at every stage of their projects.

After eight years at the head of K.Stat Consulting, she decided to take on a new challenge and joined Datastorm as CEO, succeeding Benoît Ravel, who had headed the expertise and consulting subsidiary of the Groupe des écoles nationales d'économie et statistique since its creation in 2013.
